Due to continued success in their selected market, a permanent position is now available for a Production Trainer to join their team. This position is a full-time opportunity based in Adelaide's Western Suburbs.
**Your new role**
Reporting into the Production Manager and working with the wider team, the purpose of the role is to ensure that new and existing employees receive adequate training and support from induction to upskilling ensuring that best practice training measures ensuring all employees are well-equipped to perform within their respective work centres and develop a knowledgeable workforce that will meet key business objectives and overall growth and success.
**Your daily duties will include but not limited to.**
- Define overall best practice employee onboarding process, training, and skills assessment for all streams within manufacturing area.
- Define processes, skills, instructions, and PPE for each work centre.
- Onboarding framework to ensure quality, efficiency, safety, and cost awareness.
- Unwavering compliance to Manufacturing and Assembly Instructions and process.
- Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking.
- Create training programs to address skill gaps for every employee in production area
- Ensure continuous monitoring of operational efficiency and improvements.
- Communicate with supervisor to ensure proper and consistent function of the work centre.
- Inform supervisor of necessary repairs and safety.
- Be a mentor/coach, teach new concepts and to help employees grasp various tasks.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful for this position, you will have had previous experience as a Production Trainer preferably within the manufacturing / industrial sectors. You will be comfortable using alternate teaching methods to cater to various individuals and have a passion for mentoring and teaching new concepts to help employees feel confident and competent within their positions within the organisation.
