About the Role
As a valued member of our workshop, you will be working across a wide variety of projects – from bespoke furniture to large-scale commercial upholstery. The ideal candidate will take pride in their craft, work efficiently both independently and within a team, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Upholstery of a wide range of furniture (sofas, chairs, bedheads, commercial seating, etc.)
* Cutting, sewing, and pattern matching fabrics
* Producing high-quality finishes across a wide range of furniture pieces
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment
* Collaborating with a supportive team while also managing tasks independently
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in upholstery (furniture experience essential)
* Strong knowledge of cutting, sewing, and upholstery techniques
* High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
* Ability to problem-solve and deliver quality results to deadlines
* Team player with strong communication skills, but also confident working independently
