About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our event business at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. This is your chance to combine sales leadership with hands‐on event delivery in one of Australia's most picturesque destinations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events
* Build and maintain long‐term relationships with clients and partners
* Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events
* Oversee the planning and delivery of high‐end weddings and social functions
* Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional event experiences
* Identify opportunities for growth at Elysia Wellness Retreat
Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience in wedding or event sales and management
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
* Proven success in achieving sales targets
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events
