HenderCare is currently seeking highly experienced Personal Care Workers to attend several home care services throughout Perth's Southern and Northern Suburbs (E.g. Subiaco, Camillo, Beaconsfield, Kalamunda, Lynwood, Mount Richon, Kelmscott, St James, Osborne Park, Morley, etc.).
About the Role:
As a casual Personal Care Worker, you will aim to maximise the service recipients' independence by addressing their needs and building positive home environments and relationships with families and the community. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex care, excel in handling multiple short 2-5 hour shifts between 7am-10pm Monday to Friday.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Domestic Assistance (e.g. cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, making the bed, etc.)
* Personal Care (e.g. bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, medication management, manual handling bed transfers, etc.)
-Community Access (e.g. supporting service recipients in accessing appointments or recreational activities)
Our Ideal Candidate
* Can work on a casual-basis and can drive to suburbs above (Monday to Friday)
* Previous NDIS and home care experience providing personal care, community access, and domestic assistance
* Have strong communication and documentation skills (progress notes, incident reporting, etc.)
Required (Mandatory):
* Reliable smartphone compatible with AlayaCare App for roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence, own car, and comprehensive insurance
* Current National Police Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (Employee-Type)
* Completed Certificate III/IV in Disability
* Current First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009)
* Current Manual Handling (HLTWHS005)
