Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Policy & Procedure Writer to lead a comprehensive documentation overhaul across our practice.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational documentation, compliance, and healthcare environments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drafting, updating, and consolidating a comprehensive suite of practice policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Creating a complete Practice Operations Manual.
* Developing an updated and structured Client Support Manual.
* Designing client-facing forms and internal documentation.
* Establishing WHS and risk management procedures.
* Ensuring full compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements:
* Experience in writing policies, procedures, or manuals for small-to-medium businesses or healthcare settings.
* Familiarity with Australian legislative and regulatory frameworks, particularly WHS obligations, the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, and professional codes of ethics.
* Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
* Comfortable working independently and consulting with management to ensure accuracy and applicability.
* Sound judgment and precision when interpreting regulatory guidance and translating it into practice-level documentation.
* Background in psychology, allied health, medical practice management, or health service compliance.
* Experience with Australian small business operations or health awards.
* Based in Australia or familiar with local context.
