Total Remuneration Package: The salary range for this position is $60.07 - $66.50 per hour. The total salary package will include employer's contribution to superannuation and leave loading.
Position Information
The NSW Department of Education serves the community by leading the provision of world‐class education. The Department protects young children by regulating preschool and long day care providers. About the Role
The Business Manager 2 works with the school principal and school executive and is responsible for the efficient management of the school's business functions including administration, asset management, procurement, finance and work health and safety.
The role may be required to supervise and lead the school administrative team and supervise non‐teaching staff. It may lead or manage projects or business functions in collaboration with other school staff and may also manage the work of contractors from time to time.
Jordan Springs High School is a new high school and will be ready for operation at the beginning of Term 1 2027. The Business Manager 2 will require knowledge of school enrolment systems and procedures and will coordinate enrolments in readiness for the school commencing.

* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education and Training policy.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and work effectively as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to undertake and manage financial and accounting functions including the use of computerized financial/administrative systems.
* Well‐developed oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community.
