About Your New Role
Join our team at Wallsend Dental Clinic! We are looking for a skilled individual to help provide high‑quality dental care for adults and children. Operating five days a week, our busy five‑chair clinic serves Wallsend and the surrounding regions with a range of general dental and specialty services.
In this position, you will need to excel in using various computer hardware, software, and electronic systems to ensure an effective workflow. Collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential for success.
We seek a candidate with a professional and compassionate attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Oral Health management team provides ongoing support and a comprehensive orientation program to ensure your success and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the dental team.
- Manage patient appointments and electronic health records.
- Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff.
- Assist with billing, invoicing and processing payments.
- Maintain and organize clinical files and documents.
Qualifications
- Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
- Proficient in computer hardware and software, including electronic dental systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.

This position is full time; however, job share and/or part‑time arrangements will be considered. Casual opportunities may be available for recommended applicants.
