About the Role:
Reporting to the Buyer for Platypus, you will provide operational support, including administrative and analytical tasks. Your role involves assisting in the buying process and inventory management to support sales objectives, gross margin, and turnover. You may also participate in cross-functional projects within your skill and competency level.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting: Prepare trade reports, post-season analysis, inventory reports, and ad hoc reports.
Buying Process: Assist in creating merchandise strategies, analyze product performance, monitor fashion trends, manage order processes, and maintain buy plans.
Brand Partner Relationships: Build and sustain relationships with brand partners, embodying Accent Group’s values.
Inventory Management: Manage contracts, purchase orders, product data integrity, delivery processes, and maintain buy plans.
Retail Support: Communicate with stores, share product knowledge, prepare store documents, and visit stores for market insights and feedback.
Qualifications:
Experience in buying administration and retail.
Degree qualification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and AP21.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of current market trends.
