In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering engineering standards, technical assurance, and asset management for signalling and train control systems across the NSW transport network.
This role will see you provide expert technical advice, manage standards development, and contribute to digital engineering and sustainability initiatives, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient rail operations. You'll be involved in technical investigations, audits, and performance assessments, supporting compliance and innovation in signalling design.
You will pioneer improvements in signalling design and assurance processes in a complex, safety-critical environment, driving efficiencies and resilience across the transport network.

About you
Your strong technical knowledge of signalling design principles, standards, and assurance requirements, formed across rail engineering and asset management roles, will see you resolve complex design challenges and deliver compliant, high-quality solutions. You're recognized as a trusted technical authority, skilled at analysing and validating signalling systems, and experienced in applying standards, conducting design reviews, and leveraging emerging technologies such as ETCS and CBTC to support future network interoperability.
