ABOUT THE ROLE:
T2 Electrical & Data is on the lookout for skilled Electricians to join our team Based at our head office in Meadowbrook, with projects currently in Brisbane, Logan, Redlands and Ipswich. This is an exciting, permanent opportunity to join a company committed to being a fantastic place to work, with a special focus on sports field lighting projects.

Role Conditions & Benefits
* Employment options available:
* Full-time Permanent: $47.00 – $55.00 per hour (plus leave entitlements)
* Permanent Casual: $60.00 – $68.50 per hour (casual loading included)
Rates are negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and performance.
* Standard 40-hour work week, with overtime, out-of-hours shutdowns, or shift work depending on project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of small to large projects in a team environment from start to finish
* Installation of electrical infrastructure, sports field lighting, certification, testing and commissioning
* Work on custom-built switchboards, distribution boards, including control panels and control systems.
* Collaborate with project managers, clients, engineers and team members to achieve the highest outcome and project specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing sports lighting systems, ensuring that venues always maintain reliable and high-quality lighting.
* Perform routine maintenance activities and electrical testing to ensure ongoing safety and performance, including AS3000 installation testing.
* Lead and participate in rigorous quality standards.
* Guide and mentor apprentices and junior team members to help develop their skills in the commercial and sports lighting sectors.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful for the role you will have the following skills:
* Minimum of 3 years post trade experience
* A strong technical trade background and experience in fault finding, control wiring, switchboard modifications and installations.
* A strong background in Electrical construction works - cable tray, civil, conduit, cable hauls etc.
* High attention to detail, and ability to produce quality work.
* Able to interpret Electrical drawings, schematics and plans.
* Ability to work with very minimal supervision, and to mentor apprentices.
* Extensive knowledge and experience working to Australian Standards, in particular AS3000.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in mandatory testing and record keeping.
* Possess a good attitude and work in a collaborative team environment.
Required Tickets
* Current QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence
* Manual C Class Car License with a clean driving history
* Current CPR/LVR
Highly Desired but not essential:
* EWP Above 11M & Safe working at heights
* Open Cablers Licence with structured cabling endorsement
