We are seeking a Quality Assurance Director to lead this transformation — combining hands on Quality Engineering, enterprise test governance, and strong people leadership to uplift our quality capability across one of the bank's most critical domains.This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Technology. You will be leading hands‐on automation, quality engineering, Enterprise test governance, people leadership and capability uplift.Your responsibilities will include:Establish, design and scale our Quality Engineering and Automation practicesLead hands‐on technical uplift across automation frameworks to increase coverage, stability and speedOwn end‐to‐end test governance across multiple delivery streamsProvide risk visibility, readiness assessments and quality reporting underpinned by clear metrics to senior stakeholdersWhat do I need? To be successful in this role you will have deep, hands‐on expertise in Quality Engineering, automation frameworks, API testing and modern engineering practices. You will have a strong background in test governance, quality strategy and risk‐based quality management and have the ability to design and implement QE frameworks and scalable automation ecosystems.Additional experiences and skills required:Experience leading test and automation functions in large‐scale, complex technology environmentsStrong technical grounding in CI/CD, tooling, observability, test data management and environment design.Proven success transforming traditional testing models into engineering‐led quality practicesDemonstrated experience in leveraging AI to drive testing efficiency and productivityStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsYou will be well versed in operating at a senior level and handling senior stakeholdersIt would be beneficial if you have payments industry experience and experience with payments industry vendor/ products such as SWIFT/ AMH/ FinastraWe're obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we're looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
