Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Team Leader - Build & Bridge to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Team Leader - Build & Bridge to lead a newly established team within the East Gippsland Health & Wellbeing Local. This role is responsible for building an inclusive, community-led and recovery-focused culture and strengthening engagement with hard-to-reach and underserved groups across the region.
As Team Leader, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team, foster community partnerships, support outreach engagement, and facilitate opportunities that improve access to mental health and wellbeing supports.

The role of the Team Leader - Build & Bridge is to:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Mental Health & Wellbeing Local providers, community organisations, first responders and partner agencies to enhance service access and engagement.
* Lead, coach and support a diverse multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance, values-aligned culture and ensuring staff have the necessary skills to fulfill their roles.
* Develop and promote community engagement initiatives, including co-designed strategies, community events and opportunities that enhance social and emotional wellbeing.
* Identify and support pathways for families and carers, ensuring appropriately referrals to Local Services, Carer Gateway and other supports.
* Contribute to the development of referral pathways, sector partnerships and local networks that strengthen mental health and welling support systems.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology or a related discipline, with relevant professional registration.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health, community services or related sectors including experience in community and community development work.
* Demonstrated leadership capability with proven ability to lead, motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong understanding of mental health recovery, evidence-based practice and the role of lived-experience in service design and delivery.
* Skilled in developing partnerships, supporting community-lead initiatives and engaging diverse and hard-to-reach populations.
