The Mental Health and Wellbeing Services team are committed to supporting staff wellbeing in a dynamic, busy environment and supporting professional development through learning opportunities and partnerships with external training providers. Western Health is offering sponsorship to internationally qualified nurses who are looking to move to Melbourne, Australia.

Selection Criteria
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Completed a postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing
* A minimum of months mental health experience in a mental health clinical setting (inpatient and/or community-based setting)
* Demonstrated understanding of working with mental health consumers, including appropriate supports, therapeutic engagement, assessment and evidence-based interventions
* Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act
* Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work a 7‑day a week rotating roster (AM, PM & nights)
* Must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per fortnight
* Willing to work across all Western Health campuses

WIPU is a dedicated women's‑only adult acute inpatient unit based at Footscray, offering women who are experiencing severe mental ill health a trauma‑informed and recovery‑focused individually tailored experience to care.
Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Western Health Pool (Inpatient)
As a Pool Registered Psychiatric Nurse you will be contracted to fill mental health vacancies that arise daily across our inpatient units, including Western Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, Older Adult Inpatient Unit, Community Care Unit and Rehabilitation Unit, providing the security of permanent employment and exposure to a variety of mental health clinical settings.
