About the Role:
As the Transport Supervisor your primary role is to support the Transport Manager to oversee the day-to-day Transport operations in the areas of Goods In, Store Replenishment and Online Order Fulfillment. In this role you will ensure that all respective Compliance, Safety and Quality requirements are effectively met, whilst maintaining the required levels of efficiency to meet service level expectations. Further to this, your lead on identifying areas of operational improvement and the subsequent implementation will assure the Distribution Centre can achieve its quality and performance goals needed to attain operational objectives.
Responsibilities

Organise the daily transport requirements to achieve the delivery service schedule.
Maintain standard operation procedures required to achieve the daily targets & KPIs.
Ensure accurate order consolidation and loading, and the completion of the requisite delivery data, labelling, and transport documentation
Manage documentation and data required from transportation activities, such as pallet transfers and consignment notes
Support compliance of transport related safety hazards, near miss and incidents, ensuring communication & reporting on safety matters is provided to all respective internal & external stakeholders

Experience & Skills

Previous Warehouse experience: Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Logistics Planning and Scheduling, Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Very strong communication with the ability to influence
Strong administrative skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar office software
Strong Organisation, Time Management, and Planning/Scheduling skills
