Job Title: Theatre Nurse
As a skilled theatre nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating suite.
Job Description:
* Develop and maintain clinical skills in perioperative/recovery room nursing.
* Take responsibility for allocated workload.
* Ensure high standard of documentation.
* Liaise with other departments, doctors, patients, and visitors as appropriate.
* Report difficult problems to the clinical nurse or nurse manager as necessary.
Requirements:
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Knowledge of equal employment opportunity and occupational safety and health legislation.
* Commitment to ongoing education and development.
* Experience across all areas within a clinical perioperative environment, including operating suites, recovery rooms, and anaesthetics.
