About the Opportunity:
This growing firm, is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
* Prepare financial statements, BAS, IAS, tax returns, and handle CGT, Div 7A, and FBT calculations.
* Lead advisory services (for Senior roles), offering valuable insights to clients from day one.
* Liaison with the ATO
* Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records
What We're Looking For:
* 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
* CA/CPA qualification (or willingness to complete).
* Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
