About The Role
CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self-driven Cyber Security analysts dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world. Our CrowdStrike Virtual Security Operations Center offers opportunities to expand your skill set through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to incidents in real-time for our customers.
About The Team
Falcon Complete Team helps customers by providing proactive incident detection, containment, and remediation within CrowdStrike’s security operations. The role involves working with a global team to monitor and respond to incidents across multiple platforms.

- The allocated shifts span either Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday for a 40-hour work week. These are slightly longer work days compared to a standard 5-day work week shift.
What You'll Do
- Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Perform basic malware analysis.
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management.
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events.
- Manage internal programs or teams.
What You’ll Need
- 0 - 2 years of related experience.
- Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision.
- Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Contributing thought leader within the incident response industry.
- Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for audiences with varying levels of technical ability.
- Incident Handling: experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
- Computer Forensic Analysis: experience using forensic tools to determine the extent of compromise.
- Systems Administration: understanding of system internals to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation.
- Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols, tools, and ability to analyze related logs.
- Malware Analysis: ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Incident Remediation: understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create remediation plans.
- Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: robust understanding of secure network architecture and operations.
- Programming/Scripting: experience in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
- Currently located in Japan (remote within Japan is possible); visa sponsorship is not available.
- High business level to native Japanese language skills (including writing) to communicate with local customers without needing proofreading.
- Business-level English is helpful but not required.
Other Skillsets
We are actively seeking candidates with solid technical expertise in security tools and platforms that integrate with our Next-gen SIEM Platform. If you have enterprise security technologies experience, you are encouraged to apply for Falcon Complete even if you haven’t previously worked as a security analyst. This is a good opportunity to transition your technical knowledge into cyber security threat response.
