What does this role look like for you?
The Global Travel Account Manager - ANZ role has a significant responsibility in delivering our growth plan through excellent management of our Australian customer & world-class execution of the commercial Joint Business Plans. Achieving the AOP through these customers and Brand Ambassadors is key. Engaging & managing stakeholder relationships will drive success. Market share growth is the primary metric, and the candidate must have experience & capability to recognize the levers to increase Diageo's share.
The role requires the Account Manager to adhere to the Diageo Leadership Standards daily to manage a fast-moving, multicultural business operating within complex and ambiguous market conditions.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage & deliver the P&L with control over volume, NSV, OP, price, A&P, Trade Spend, & margin mix through negotiation and long-term planning with customers.
Lead S&OP & AOP cycles. Engage confidently with Diageo Directors to share your vision for the business.
Maintain excellent forecasting skills across all metrics: depletions, shipments, Trade Spend & A&P.
Regularly review distributor customer performance versus the commercial scorecard. Hold customers accountable and develop action plans to close gaps.
Apply an entrepreneurial and creative mindset to over-achieve KPIs and mitigate risks. Use commercial scenario planning to deliver opportunities quickly.
Agree on Joint Business Plans/Diageo 365 essentials that deliver sustainable long-term value.
Lead cross-functional teams with finance, marketing, etc., to create exceptional JBPs.
Develop trade plans that delight local consumers at the point of purchase and create exceptional on/off-trade experiences while driving category growth and increasing Diageo's share.
Ensure airport-level Every Day Great Execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to Diageo Global Brand Standards.
Maintain complete compliance and governance for all projects, following relevant SOAs/Policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships, even through difficult negotiations, to ensure success in this role.
