About the role
The Brand Designer plays a key role in conceptualising and delivering high-quality design solutions across the HCF Group. As part of the in-house Creative Studio, this role works across a range of multi-channel digital and print applications, including web and mobile, brand communications, marketing collateral, campaigns, retail, events and creative assets to help drive brand awareness, consideration and enhance the member experience. This is a brand-focused design role, with accountability for delivering consistent, high-quality creative that clearly communicates HCF's brand identity, positioning and messaging across all touchpoints. The role spans conceptual thinking, strategic design and hands‐on execution, taking work from ideation through to finished artwork and production. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the role contributes to the development and management of brand assets, ensuring all outputs align to brand standards and support a cohesive and trusted brand experience. There is also a strong focus on improving processes and contributing to an efficient, high‐performing Creative Studio environment. This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, supporting a balance of in‐office collaboration (1 - 2 days per week) and working from home. About you
You will bring a passion for brand and a sharp eye for detail, with the ability to translate brand strategy into thoughtful, high-quality design outcomes across multiple channels. Formal tertiary qualifications in design, visual communications or multimedia and previous design experience. Demonstrated conceptual and strategic design capability, with experience delivering high-quality work across digital and print channels and applying brand consistently across multiple touchpoints. Proven ability to take work from concept through to execution, with a high level of attention to detail and a focus on delivering polished, on‐brand outcomes. Experience working within an in‐house studio or agency environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to present work clearly and articulate design decisions in a way that connects to brand and strategic objectives. A collaborative and proactive approach, with a focus on efficiency, continuous improvement and delivering outcomes that enhance the member experience. A genuine passion for design and pride in contributing to a consistent, high‐quality and trusted brand.
