Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated consultant to join our Gynaecology team.
* Provide high-level clinical care and leadership in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or combined Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Participate in the on-call roster, ensuring 24/7 coverage for acute obstetric and gynaecological services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality patient care and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
2. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient care outcomes.
3. Supervise and support junior medical staff and actively participate in teaching and research activities.
4. Engage in strategic planning to improve departmental performance and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
* Registration (or ability for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Extensive expertise in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or both, with a strong clinical background in managing complex cases.
* Commitment to teaching, research and ongoing professional development.
* Demonstrated ability to work within a team and provide leadership in a multidisciplinary setting.
