From wild designs to community-led stories, we turn everyday essentials into something bold, expressive, and fun. Now, we’re looking for an imaginative, fearless, and strategic Head of Marketing & Creative to lead our next chapter of brand evolution and global impact.
As Head of Marketing & Creative, you'll sit at the helm of Knobby’s marketing and creative team, leading the creative vision and strategic execution across all brand campaigns, product launches, and storytelling initiatives. You’ll oversee the creative process; from ideation and design to production and activation, ensuring everything we put into the world is bold, on-brand, and performance-driven. You’ll be setting, monitoring and reporting on team goals, and as a marketing leader, you always clearly establish a line of sight between your plans and the priorities of the business.
This is a role for someone who thinks big, loves to experiment, and knows how to turn customer intelligence, brand love and creativity into conversion but also someone who thrives in being hands-on (we may have stairs at HQ, however there are no ivory towers here!)
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Vision
* Manage the evolution and execution of Knobby’s brand positioning, voice, and visual identity.
* Define and implement multi-channel brand and campaign strategies that align with commercial
* objectives and drive market growth.
* Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all touch points (digital, retail, packaging, social, content, events, etc).
Creative Direction & Content Oversight
* Oversee the creative development and production of marketing campaigns, assets, including video, photography, design, and storytelling content.
* Guide internal and external creative resources to deliver compelling and brand-aligned outputs across performance and organic channels.
* Set the creative tone and aesthetic direction for seasonal launches, campaigns, partnerships, and experiential activations.
Campaign Management
* Lead cross-functional campaign planning from brief through to execution, managing timelines, budgets, approvals, and performance evaluation.
* Partner with Marketing, Product, E-commerce, and Growth teams to ensure creative output supports broader brand and commercial goals.
* Integrate data, consumer insights, and performance metrics into creative decisions to optimise, engagement and impact.
* Drive Go To Marketing plans for all campaigns and product releases.
Voice of Customer/Customer Experience
* Define and own the VoC strategy in alignment with broader marketing and product objectives.
* Partner with ecommerce, and support teams to synthesise customer feedback from all channels.
* Design and execute regular VoC initiatives (e.g., listening sessions, feedback loops, sentiment analysis)that inform marketing decisions.
* Lead integration of customer insights into brand and creative strategies to ensure resonance with target audiences.
* Translate VoC learnings into actionable marketing initiatives that reflect real customer needs and sentiments.
* Champion a customer-first mindset across all brand, content, and campaign efforts.
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead and mentor the brand and content team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance across brand and content
* functions.
* Act as a strategic advisor and collaborator with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders.
Performance & Innovation
* Set and track key brand and creative KPIs, measuring success across awareness, engagement, and conversion metrics.
* Champion creative experimentation and trend adoption to maintain brand relevance and cultural
* resonance.
* Stay informed of industry innovations, competitive activity, and emerging platforms to keep Knobby ahead of the curve.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Arts, or related field (or equivalent
* experience).
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in brand leadership, creative direction and campaign management, ideally in a consumer, apparel, or lifestyle brand.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated brand campaigns with measurable results.
* Experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary teams and external agencies or creative partners.
* Deep understanding of content strategy, performance marketing, and digital-first creative best practices.
