Our client a leading Food, Beverage and Pharmaceuticalsystems supplier are currently recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to join the team based at their Tullamarine Workshop.
The workshop supervisor is required to oversees the day-to-day operations the workshop, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work.
* Prioritising urgent breakdown repairs.
* Allocating jobs to technicians and tradespeople based on skills and workload.
* Monitoring progress to minimisedowntime.
* Leading maintenance technicians.
* Providing technical guidance and support.
* Monitoring productivity and workmanship.
* Training and mentoring staff.
* Enforcing workplace health and safety procedures.
* Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
* Ensuring repairs meet quality and reliability standards.
* Investigating recurring equipment failures and implementing improvements.
* Managing spare parts inventory and ordering materials.
* Coordinating with suppliers and contractors when needed.
* Maintaining maintenance records and work orders.
* Assisting with budgeting and resource planning.
About you
* Strong maintenance supervisor background.
* Mechanical trade qualified
* Leadership and team management experience.
* Knowledge of maintenance planning systems
* Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or asset maintenance practices.
* Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements.
