About the role
We are currently seekingcausal Residential Support Workers to join our team inRockhampton.
Responsibilities
Engage with youngpeople to support them in all aspects of life, both in the homeand wider community.
Implementstrategies identified in the care plan and participate inreview of care plans to ensure young people have clear,relevant, and achievable goals.
Support plannedcontact and connectedness to family as approved by child safetyservices.
Support social,recreational, educational and health activities for youngpeople in line with their individual care plan.

Mandatory Requirements
Certificate IV inChild, Youth and Family Intervention/Community Services orworking toward this qualification (proof of enrolmentrequired).
Alternative qualifications / Working towards
Certificate IVin Mental Health, Community Services or YouthWork
Diploma inBehavioural Science, Counselling, Nursing or MentalHealth

Astrong communicator, able to quickly build rapport andinfluence across a diverse range of people.

Ability to obtain aBlue Card (working with children check positive notice orexemption)
Ability to obtain aYellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemptionnotice)
