Western Star Academy (WSA) is seeking a friendly and organized Student Support Officer to join our team. This role is primarily front desk-based and will provide essential support services to our students and staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and staff at the reception.
- Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist students with enrolment, attendance, and general support services.
- Maintain student records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support, including document preparation and filing.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Support the student services team with event coordination and student engagement activities.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and professionally presented at all times.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required.
**Key Requirements**:
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or student support is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
