CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our HME team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Fabrication, this role is responsible for the general fabrication and boilermaker repairs on Graders, Dump Trucks, Dozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, and Drills.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining a safe and clean workplace
- Inspecting and repair of Loader and Shovel/Backhoe buckets
- Refurbishment of Dump Truck trays
- Participating in HME safety meetings
- Maintaining all mobile plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Completing all preventative maintenance scheduled checks and adjustments of equipment in Field and Workshop environments
Successful applicant will have:
- Current WA HR drivers’ licence is essential
- Current HRWL containing LF, WP, DG, Working at Heights & Confined Space ticket
- Good understanding of Heavy Mobile Equipment Boilermaking and Fabrication
- Experience with multiple welding processes, Innershield welding (232,233,XLR-8), Flux cored wires (3XP-H4, 71-EH, 81ni etc.) and air-arc gouging is A MUST.
- Previous mining/resources industry (Heavy mobile equipment) experience
- Engineering tradesperson qualification – Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder).
- Ability to Pass 3G and 4G Weld tests in MMAW, FCAW & GMAW
