Darwin Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.
You will play a key role within this busy and dynamic inpatient environment to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.As a Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:You will work closely with Clinical Nurses and Educators as part of the Senior Leadership TeamYou will provide operational direction for DPH inpatient services to ensure efficient and effective management of the area and coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resourcesYou will undertake direct patient care as required providing guidance and support to less experienced members of the nursing team.About us:Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory.
As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licensed 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.In February ****, a purpose built 18 bed inpatient Mental Health & AoD Unit, The Darwin Clinic, opened a new service for patients in the Northern Territory.
It also incorporates a dedicated Day Rehabilitation Program.Our world-class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote Aboriginal communities and even offshore.
