Enterprise Architect - Cloud and Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect – Cloud and Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The role will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for technologies, standards, processes and architectures for all related cloud and on‐premises services, including infrastructure, networks and security.
Responsibilities
* Develop cloud and on‐premises architecture services, including infrastructure, networks and security in alignment with enterprise architecture practice.
* Define and design cloud and infrastructure platforms and business solutions to meet organisational needs within the program roadmap.
* Lead technical implementation of cloud initiatives and advocate architectural outcomes to vendors and third parties.
* Design and implement integrations that connect systems and applications across the organisation.
* Identify performance bottlenecks, propose optimisation solutions and ensure scalability.
* Assess technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to support project success.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectures with business objectives and requirements.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and best‐practice guidelines.
* Monitor and report on enterprise‐wide cloud architecture programmes and adjust activities as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
* At least 5 years experience as a Cloud Architect (Azure, Google Cloud, hybrid services) or similar role.
* At least 5 years experience as an infrastructure architect focusing on on‐premise technologies (EUC, server, network, security).
* Experience with Zachman and/or TOGAF, ITIL, ITSM, COBIT, SDLC, SOA.
* Knowledge of distributed management, analytics, data access and microservices architectures.
* Experience with integration solutions for large complex organisations.
* Understanding of emerging technologies such as digital, AI, ML, DL, and RPA.
* Strong awareness of hardware, networks, software technologies and applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non‐technical stakeholders.
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Knowledge of emerging technologies, cyber‐security and IT industry trends.
