About the Role:
Sedgman is currently in the process of recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance on our design projects, and overseeing detailed design work in minerals processing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance.
* Oversee and contribute to detailed design projects in the mineral processing industry.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver outstanding design solutions.
* Provide technical advisory and support throughout various project phases.
* Utilise expertise in hazard analysis and process engineering to ensure project success.
Role Requirements & Experience:
* Tertiary degree in Process or Chemical Engineering
* Minimum 7 + years of experience in process engineering.
* Background in mineral processing.
* Proven experience in detailed design and addressing technical queries.
* Familiarity with hazard analysis tools and processes.
Skills:
* Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience in both conceptual and detailed design work.
* Technical proficiency in process engineering.
* Experience with HAZOP or LOPA facilitation is advantageous but not essential.
