Senior corporate analyst

Melbourne
Bendigo & Adelaide Bank
Posted: 7 May
Offer description

We've never been 'just a bank'. Just like you should never be 'just an employee'. We're united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we're making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

This role is part of the Senior Corporate Analyst team, reporting to the National Manager Corporate. As a key member, you will contribute to customer relationship management, influencing lending growth and retention targets.

You will work closely with customers to deepen existing relationships, understanding their needs and preferences. The customer relationships and transactions can be complex, requiring advanced problem-solving skills to provide solution-based outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Driving profitable growth by meeting asset growth, non-interest income, and expenditure control targets.
* Maintaining target lending margins for acceptable returns on equity and risk.
* Managing the end-to-end loan application process, from inception to completion.
* Collaborating with solicitors to prepare documentation and register securities.
* Conducting customer needs analysis to identify and fulfill broader financial needs.
* Fostering cross-selling opportunities for collateral bank products, increasing product penetration and depth of relationship.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with a preference for Melbourne to enable face-to-face interaction with your manager and local customers.

Our flexible work options prioritize work-life balance, including a hybrid WFH model with a minimum of 60% time spent in the office.

For more information, refer to the Senior Corporate Analyst job description.

What you'll bring to the role

* Customers are at the forefront of everything you do.
* Advanced credit and financial analysis skills, with experience structuring complex credit papers and cash flow modeling.
* Success in building strong stakeholder and customer relationships.
* A good understanding of commercial markets.
* Advanced experience in the end-to-end lending process.
* Confidence and ability to influence and negotiate, presenting at the Credit Committee.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with effective planning and time management skills.
* A willingness to learn new concepts and financial structures.

We offer a range of benefits, including:

* Flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
* Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships and private health insurance options.
* Opportunities for professional development through our corporate university or external providers.

We're making better, bigger. And we'll get there with you.

This is your chance to take your career to the next level, apply now.
