Project Delivery Manager – Exhibitions & Experiential
We're partnering with a well-established experiential and exhibition delivery business known for producing high-impact exhibition stands, immersive brand environments, and large-scale event activations for leading brands.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to take ownership of end-to-end project execution — ensuring builds are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard onsite.
This role is ideal for someone coming from a supplier, exhibition build, production, or event delivery environment who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on project environments.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of exhibition builds and experiential projects, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to bring projects to life.
From pre-production through to onsite install and bump-out, you will own delivery — ensuring everything runs seamlessly across logistics, timelines, safety, and execution.
This is a highly operational role, best suited to someone who enjoys being close to the action and managing live environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
* Manage end-to-end delivery of exhibition builds and event activations
* Coordinate design, production, logistics, transport, installation, and dismantle
* Develop project timelines, build schedules, and site plans
* Oversee onsite delivery during bump-in and bump-out periods
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time to ensure successful delivery
* Manage external suppliers including builders, installers, electricians, AV teams, and labour crews
* Coordinate internal teams across production, warehouse, and operations
* Ensure all parties are aligned to timelines, scope, and deliverables
Onsite Execution & Safety
* Lead onsite activity ensuring builds are delivered to spec and quality standards
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, site inductions, and safety documentation
* Conduct pre-start briefings and manage daily onsite coordination
Commercial & Operational Oversight
* Manage project budgets, track costs, and support quoting processes
* Monitor project performance and flag risks or variations
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
About You
You are a hands-on project delivery professional with experience working in environments such as:
* Exhibition stand builders or custom display suppliers
* Event production or live event delivery
* Shopfitting, fit-outs, or construction-based project environments
You will bring:
* 3+ years experience in project delivery within events, exhibitions, production or build environments
* Strong understanding of onsite installations, logistics, and supplier coordination
* Experience managing contractors, timelines, and live project environments
* Knowledge of WHS and onsite safety requirements
* Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Additional Requirements
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including early mornings, late finishes, and occasional weekends during key event periods
* Comfortable working both in the office and onsite at event locations
