About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, we are now seeking a driven and passionate person to maintain and grow our valued customer base across an established Queensland territory.
This role combines relationship management, new‑business development, and hands‑on store support across metro and regional QLD. You'll work closely with key retail groups, independents, our call‑centre team, and internal sales operations.
Based out of Berrinba, the territory covers:
* Brisbane South
* Logan
* Gold Coast
* Northern NSW down to Coffs Harbour
* Far North Queensland, serviced in person, with the BDM flying into Cairns, hiring a car to visit customers through to Mackay (or vice‑versa), on a self‑managed rotation every 2–3 months
The focus is on supporting and maintaining established accounts, resolving issues promptly, communicating programs clearly, and identifying day‑to‑day opportunities to enhance dealer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage, service, and grow the territory network, ensuring consistent support for all customers.
* Deliver against quarterly sales targets and performance expectations.
* Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across the territory.
* Train and coach retailers on Dunlop and Falken products — especially in the 4WD/AT category.
* Execute promotions, incentives, and POS rollouts while maintaining in‑store brand standards.
* Plan territory travel and store visits in a structured, efficient way, balancing metro and regional coverage.
* Engage collaboratively with the call‑centre and internal colleagues to resolve issues and maintain smooth store operations.
* Travel regularly throughout Queensland, including scheduled Far North QLD visits as outlined.

Skills & Knowledge Required
* Experience in field sales, BDM or account management, ideally in tyres, automotive, aftermarket, or related B2B environments.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence store‑level decision‑makers.
* Confident communicator who can simplify complex programs for busy retail operators.
* Self‑driven and organised, able to work autonomously across a broad territory.
* Positive Attitude & Team Mindset: A positive, self‑motivated team player who engages well with customers and collaborates effectively with local colleagues.
* Ownership & Problem‑Solving: Ability to take ownership of customer issues and resolve them clearly, promptly, and in a mutually beneficial way.
* Attention to Detail: Reliable follow‑through and disciplined administrative habits.
* Presentation Skills: Confidence presenting product, pricing, and commercial programs.
* Health, Safety & Environmental Commitment: Safe driving and responsible travel practices.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across QLD.
