Electrical Specialist
As an Electrical Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical safety and reliability of our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment and systems to achieve seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Power Up Equipment: Install, calibrate, and maintain critical electrical systems.
* Diagnose and Optimize: Examine, troubleshoot, and fine-tune interconnected circuit systems to prevent operational disruptions.
* Keep Records Accurate: Manage and maintain departmental plans, databases, and essential documentation for efficient operations.
* System Commissioning & Tuning: Commission and fine-tune electrical systems to achieve peak performance and reliability.
* Master Complex Control Systems: Troubleshoot fault finding in advanced electrical control systems, working with combinations of pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based, and mechanical subsystems.
* Lead Special Projects: Collaborate on special projects that drive innovation and improvement.
* Safety Champion: Show a strong commitment to safety and participate in safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence is required.
* Post-trade experience in heavy industry electrical or instrumentation work is necessary.
* Cert 3 or 4 in Instrumentation, experience with fixed plant maintenance, and familiarity with LV motor control and PLC systems are ideal qualifications.
