The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently triage and provide support for IT-related issues reported by our users, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruptions.
* Monitor internal incident and system management tools to ensure the uninterrupted flow of data and overall system and process health.
* Take ownership of root cause analysis and problem resolution, driving continuous improvement and preventative outcomes.
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, supporting the wider IT team as required.
* Play a key role in strengthening security and ensuring business continuity, protecting our digital assets and customer trust.
* Support the administration and ongoing improvement of network and infrastructure environments.
* Contribute to diverse and exciting technology initiatives and projects.
About You:
Must have:
* 5+ years' experience in IT Service Delivery or a similar role
* Exceptional troubleshooting skills, ability to transform challenges into solutions.
* Computer Science Degree or equivalent.
* Proven experience within MS Azure, MS Entra and MS Intune.
* A solid grasp of TCP/IP networking principles.
* Proficiency in building and staging Windows based PCs.
* Security-first mindset with a solid adherence and management of MFA and conditional access concepts.
* An understanding of scripting and data interaction using tools such as PowerShell, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
* Embrace every challenge with a \"can-do\" attitude, spreading enthusiasm and solution-driven energy across our team.
* Strong appetite for learning, with the ability to grasp new concepts swiftly.
* Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
* Be prepared for occasional after-hours and weekend work, as well as potential travel (we have pool vehicles available for work-related trips). We are a 24/7 business and provide support on a rotating roster.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting POS systems and associated peripheral devices.
* Retail and/or fuel industry experience.
* Proficiency in EFTPOS operations (Quest and/or PC-EFTPOS).
* Experience with ManageEngine or a similar IT service and operations management platform.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
* Experience acting as an escalation point for complex issues.
* History of contributing to documentation / KBA processes.
