Formulae Perth is a licenced PBS and compounding pharmacy with a strong clientele. We have been listening to our patients, working with other allied health professionals to provide specialised solutions for several years across Western Australia.
The Role
We can provide all training on the job, and you will be supported and encouraged by teammates with decades of experience. You will be backed up by a quality assurance team who manage and mitigate professional risk, and you will be provided with a continual stream of CPD relevant to the role.
Ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring the laboratory is producing quality medicines and products. Adhering to the procedures and quality standards of Formulae.
There are some other general duties relevant to the daily operation of a pharmacy which may include dispensing, liaising with customers and suppliers, emails, and preparation and follow up for consultations.
You will be reporting to the Head Pharmacist on duty and Business Manager, however, due to the nature of the laboratory, there is an expectation that you are not only a self-starter but able to identify and discuss issues early.
Initially this will be 30 hours per week. We passionately believe in work-life balance and creating a supportive, positive environment for our team. There are no weekend work, public holiday work or late nights.
Key Responsibilities
Essential
· Qualifications:
o BSc or similar qualification with chemistry knowledge and/or relevant science qualification.
o Or strong experience in pharmaceutical compounding in a laboratory setting.
o Or experience in pharmacy setting looking to expand your role.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, with clear English skills.
· Excellent time management skills, great attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
· Strong analytical, research skills and problem-solving skills
· Self-motivated to deliver results.

· Experience in quality management systems
Preferences
· Discerning scientific skills with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of formulations and their production with associated problem-solving for issues that may be encountered.
