Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) is responsible for optimizing and actively managing IB&M’s balance sheet and capital, as well as supporting the pricing and origination of non-retail lending across the Group. Active Portfolio Management involves distributing risk from the portfolio to the bank, investor, and insurance markets, as well as adding risk through secondary loan markets where there is an appropriate return on capital. Do work that matters You will be responsible for providing information and insights about the IB&M credit portfolio to senior management and other stakeholders in CBA to support the optimisation of capital allocation in the portfolio. This will include Extracting, preparing, manipulating, and analysing data from relevant CBA databases Producing regular data extracts and reports for various stakeholders across IB&M on risk-return pricing metrics, capital, Funding, liquidity and credit risk commitments Responding to ongoing business requests for specific analytics and reporting in support of strategy development including industry sector and country analysis Assisting with Active Portfolio Management activities through loan hold/sale analysis Supporting team priorities related to optimising capital allocations and returns across the IB&M credit portfolio Conducting cost of funding analysis for the IB&M portfolio and specific loans in the portfolio Identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in portfolio analytics Providing support to IB&M bankers when they are pricing loan transactions We value team members who are highly motivated, hard-working, and passionate about learning banking.
