Job Summary
The Department of Infrastructure and Transport seeks a seasoned professional to lead the ICT Governance, Assurance and Security activities. The role will oversee the strategic development, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of ICT cyber security frameworks and functions.
This leadership position requires a strong management and leadership capability, motivating and influencing staff, driving work objectives for improved performance across multiple fronts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead complex and multifaceted ICT Governance, Assurance and Security activities
2. Develop and implement effective cyber security frameworks and functions
3. Manage and develop high-performance teams across each domain
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Extensive experience in IT governance and policy management
* Broad knowledge of contemporary processes and practices for the effective management of ICT risks
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Passion for driving continual improvement programs and quality management practices within an enterprise level ICT setting
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in a technology, assurance, and/or project delivery field is highly regarded, along with evidence of an ongoing commitment to professional growth and development.
