* Based in Corowa, NSW
* Full-time (Part-time/Contract and flexible work arrangements considered)
* Remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience Health Professional and Support Services Award 2010 [MA2000027]

Amaranth Foundation is a not-for-profit charity, providing compassionate, holistic, "wrap around" care for clients of all ages coping with issues relating to mental health, grief, loss, trauma, disability, ageing, chronic and terminal illness.
We receive referrals for individuals, couples and families seeking support for a range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, addictive behaviour, relationship problems, conflict, bullying, suicidal thoughts, feeling sad or lonely, adjusting to change…

Let's talk about the role
* Engage with clients, carers and families in collaboration with referrers, other service providers and stakeholders to foster trust, coordinate holistic care planning and deliver therapeutic interventions
* Provide discipline specific evidence based practice and appropriate treatment options as required
* Assist in discipline specific clinical supervision
* Contribute to ongoing professional development and peer training activities
* Travel within 1hr radius of Corowa to service our Outreach clinics
Let's talk about you (Selection criteria)
* You are a Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with Mental Health training with at least 2-3 year experience (involvement in community based social work, mental health, aged care, grief, trauma, palliative care or bereavement would be a great asset)
* You are registered or eligible for registration with AASW, APS or APHRA
* You are registered or eligible to be registered as a Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS) provider and DVA provider
* You can demonstrate your understanding of and capacity to undertake person centred, goal directed, strength based holistic assessments
* You have individual and/or group counselling experience
* You have the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical work against client outcomes
* You have strong advocacy and negotiation skills and you'll draw upon your tertiary qualifications and experience to give our clients and their families the high quality of care they deserve
* You possess an understanding of the challenges in working across rural communities
* You have a high level of interpersonal, observational, written and verbal communication skills
* You have the ability to contribute to a team and are willing to work both individually and as part of a dynamic and growing organisation committed to developing effective collaborative community partnerships
* You have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check
* You have a current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and your own vehicle
* You have the capacity to work after hours or occasional weekends if required
