We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Staff Development Nurse (SDN) to join our Education, Safety, Quality and Risk Team. The successful applicant shall be responsible for education and training in relation to clinical practices and as part of the multidisciplinary team plans, implements and evaluates orientation, education and training at the ward or unit level.

The Staff Development Nurse (SDN) facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care and works collaboratively to ensure service is delivered in accordance with health service policy and standards. The Staff Development Nurse/Midwife practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart

Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
