We are currently seeking a professional to fill the position of Clinical Care Manager to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating the Clinical Team, overseeing the care of up to 44 residents.
This role is suited to candidates with similar experience; however, registered nurses with a minimum of 7 years of experience and a proven ability for clinical and leadership skills will also be considered.
The successful applicant will model a person-centred approach and be result-driven.
About the Role:
* Manage Clinical Care responsibilities.
* Assess, coordinate and monitor individual needs and provision of appropriate care to meet individual requirements of all residents.
* Provide timely nursing interventions to ensure optimum level of health status is achieved by all residents.
* Use advanced clinical knowledge and skills to conduct assessment and develop care plans for residents with complex health problems.
* Liaise with residents and/or relatives on an ongoing basis to ensure that residents' rights and responsibilities are maintained.
* Promote independent living for residents.
* Work collaboratively with Residential Care Manager in compilation and review of AN-ACC assessments.
Key Requirements:
* Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Experience working in the aged care sector.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accreditation.
* Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement, OHS and risk management.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC/ACFI.
* Experience leading and managing a team.
