ACT Pain Centre is an expanding Private Multidisciplinary Pain Centre based in Deakin, Canberra. At ACT Pain Centre we provide a multi-disciplinary treatment to manage Chronic Pain, Complex Acute Pain conditions, Cancer Pain, and Pediatric pain. The ACT Pain Centre multi-disciplinary team consists of well-experienced Specialist Pain Medicine Physicians, Psychiatrists, Clinical psychologists, Pain physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational therapists and Clinical Nurse Consultant.
Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to managing an appointment book, responding to general enquiries, liaison with patients and other health professionals for management, medical billing, as well as typing some specialist letters.
Skills and Experience needed:
* Demonstrated skills in customer service
* Excellent communication skills and telephone skills
* Ability to prioritise a busy workload
* Capable of working independently and in a team
* Strong administrative and analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience in medical practice and fluency in medical administration is highly regarded.
* Experience with Genie/ Gentu software is preferred.
