WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Previous experience in the hire or construction industry or a similar role would be advantageous.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Genuine interest in machinery and equipment (training will be provided).
* Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications.
* Forklift licence and white card will be highly regarded.
Working Hours – Full time role
* 47.5 hours Monday – Friday and availability to work on some weekends.
About the role
We are looking for a superstar Customer Service Assistant to join our constantly growing business based in our location in Toowoomba. You will be responsible for but not limited to
* Greet and assist customers, providing exceptional service in all customer interactions.
* Maintain cleanliness and support smooth operation of the branch showroom, yard, and storage areas.
* Complete inspections, clean, maintain and service hire equipment to a high standard.
* Coordinate with operation and workshop team members to ensure timely preparation and availability of equipment.
* Instruct and demonstrate to customers on how to safely use our equipment.
* Pickup and deliver equipment from customer sites and between branches.
* Safely load and unload equipment.
* Process hire contracts, including paperwork and payment transactions.
* Provide detailed information on equipment usage, availability, and pricing.
* Assist with general tasks as needed.
