ICAM is a South Australian based alternative investments fund manager providing attractive, ethical and long-term investment opportunities for high-net-worth investors, family offices and institutional funds. ICAM aims to deliver on its investment strategy, attractive track record, sound investment philosophy and strong investment process. ICAM specialises in investing and managing real assets such as property and infrastructure as well as private credit. ICAM is looking to add more funds and assets to its portfolio, aiming for $2B of funds under management.
ICAM are now seeking a Senior Property Portfolio Analyst to join their dynamic and highly commercial team to play an integral role between management and analysts within its structure. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Head of Property Portfolio Management, this pivotal role will focus on delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting across a diversified property portfolio. The successful candidate will participate in strategic decision-making, enhance fund performance, and actively contribute to asset management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for a diverse range of property assets, ensuring accuracy and reliability by refining and updating distribution forecast models.
- Prepare comprehensive financial data and written reports to support Information Memoranda, investor communications, board papers, and presentations, providing critical insights that inform decision-making across the organisation.
- Participate in strategic decision-making, enhance fund performance, and actively contribute to asset management initiatives.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business, Property, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least four years of relevant property or investment analysis experience, preferably within commercial, industrial, retail, or alternative property sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuations, transactions, and investment appraisal techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and a proactive approach to enhancing modelling capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, underpinned by strong commercial acumen, a hands-on approach, adaptability, and an innovative mindset.
