Resource Recovery Team Member Driver, a permanent role, supports waste and recycling services across the Inner West, leading a small crew and operating collection vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Operate waste compaction and collection vehicles across day or night shifts.
* Lead and support a small team to complete assigned collection runs.
* Collect, load and transport waste and recyclables across multiple service streams.
* Maintain compliance with WHS requirements, road rules and Council procedures.
* Engage respectfully with community members and minimise disruption.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Class HR Driver's Licence, basic computer skills and literacy.
* Strong customer service focus, conscientiousness and reliability.
* Ability to perform work safely, ensuring the safety of team members and the public.
* Suitable level of fitness relative to the position.
* Willingness to work flexibly across all collection services in a team‐based, customer‐focused environment.
* Experience operating mechanical road plant in a high‐density urban environment.
Compensation: $75,908.56 – $83,841.16 plus 12% superannuation.
