Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team for the Pluto Train 2 project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of employees, contractors, and the public by providing input and technical guidance on HSE requirements, conducting inspections and monitoring, and overseeing planning and implementation of ERT functions.

Main Responsibilities:
* Develop Rescue Plans for high-risk work areas to ensure effective response in case of an emergency.
* Conduct training programs in height and rope rescue, basic fire response, and other required skills for the Pluto Train 2 Auxiliary Emergency Response Team.
* Maintain competency standards within the Pluto 2 Emergency Response Team by developing and updating competency matrices.
* Develop maintenance inspection programs and registers for firefighting equipment, and ensure all operational equipment is inspected and records maintained.
* Contribute to site-wide risk assessment studies and respond proactively to high-risk areas.
* Coordinate emergency situations requiring the turnout of ERT members.
* Review the Pluto Train 2 Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan, Bechtel Core Processes, and relevant policies and procedures periodically.
* Coordinate with the Pluto Operations Emergency Response team on drills and cyclone management.
* Provide safety technical support and assistance to projects, and coordinate safety requirements and formulation of risk reduction measures with project-assigned safety personnel, engineering, construction, and onsite HSE representatives during construction.
* Conduct safety inspections and assessments of project construction activities to monitor compliance with applicable safety and health requirements.
* Participate in meetings with customers, project team members, and subcontractors to advise them of safety and health requirements affecting project design, schedule, and cost.
* Work with construction personnel to develop risk assessments, JHA's, and project-specific mitigation plans, safety and health awareness training programs, and technical and regulatory reports.

Requirements:
* Degree or Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related science/engineering area preferred.
* Diverse experience in HSE roles.
* Previous refinery/chemical/LNG plant construction HSE experience preferred.
* Working knowledge of safe work practices and experience in conducting accident investigations, compliance audits, and project health surveys preferred.
* Emergency Response qualifications, such as confined space, vertical rescue, and fire.
* Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
* ICAM or TapRoot Certificate.
* Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Goods Management, First Aid certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Thorough knowledge of technical rescue, emergency response strategies, and Incident Command.
* Ability to develop and deliver fire and height rescue training packages.
* A sound awareness of operational safety issues and an excellent personal safety record.
* High level competency in personal computer applications, including Excel, Access, and Project.
* Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles.
* Thorough knowledge of incident investigation practices to identify causes and remedial actions.
* Knowledge of safety procedures, engineering systems, principles, and methodologies.
* Knowledge of national and international safety laws and regulations, industry standards/practices for safety and health compliance, and best management practices for minimizing potential safety risks during project execution.
* Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of safety and/or health subcontractors or consultants.
* Experience in safety inspections and assessments during construction.
