In this role, you will work closely with the existing Oral Health Therapist based at Randwick, as well as with mobile dental van contractors, to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care across diverse settings. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you'll provide preventive and therapeutic treatments as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting aged care residents, individuals living with dementia, and those with complex medical needs.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop personalised care plans for a wide range of patientsDeliver preventive and therapeutic dental treatments (including scaling and cleaning, fluoride application, basic restorative treatments and oral health education).Collaborate closely with mobile dental service contractors to ensure a consistent and high standard of care.Provide ongoing patient management and follow-up, ensuring all oral health needs are met, especially for patients with complex medical histories.Educate patients, staff and their families on best practices for maintaining optimal oral health, particularly in the aged care setting.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Keep accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including using D4W software.Skills and Experience:Prior experience working in a mobile dental environment is highly regardedStrong background in aged care and dementia support is highly desirableAlong with the essential criteria below, to succeed in this role, you will demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills and possess a naturally empathic nature.
