Role Overview
Swinburne Online is seeking a motivated and passionate Online Learning Advisor to support students in achieving their academic goals. As an Online Learning Advisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating learning and guiding students through their educational journey.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with a degree meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in Australia. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver planned academic content, including lectures, tutorials, and assessment tasks.
* Mark and moderate assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
* Facilitate online discussions and forums, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A law degree meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in Australia.
* 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably as a lawyer or solicitor.
* Alternatively, a Master's in Law with significant industry experience or a PhD in Law or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
* Strong empathy for students' challenges and a passion for student success.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfort with learning new technologies and systems.
