Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

As a key member of the FSA Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the CFO is a proactive hands‑on technical leader in finance, budgeting, forecasting, systems, project management, quality assurance and risk management as it applies to finance, audit and risk functions.
An innovator with proven ability to value‑add, ideally you’re CPA qualified with exceptional technical finance skills remaining current in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis in accordance with AASB and IFRS Standards.
Ethical with strong governance, you will be comfortable in setting the standard and completing board financial reporting, advanced Excel financial modelling, internal accounting, audit and testing, including for government funding acquittals, property and business development, merger and acquisitions. You’re proven in leading the support of external audits.
FSA’s appointed CFO drives innovation, solution design, system and process improvement to create financial sustainability. Ensuring continuous improvement with a very high attention to detail and accuracy of work. The CFO supports annual statutory, regulatory and compliance reporting, including timely, error‑free financial statements for FSA and external agencies.
This position is primarily based at our Head Office in Shellharbour, NSW (relocation assistance available).

* Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualified with minimum Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Business Finance and MBA held in high regard.
* Minimum ten (10) years direct experience in a community service environment that has included successful, cohesive and supportive team leadership.
* Excellent prioritisation, time and project management ability with a strong psychological resilience capacity and calmness when operating in dynamic care environments.
* Ability to coordinate and promote a multi‑disciplined environment with high Standards of Care, Quality Assurance, Audit and Risk Management.
* Outstanding internal and external communication and interpersonal skills to aid staff capacity building in challenging operating environments.
