Job Description
What you will be doing:
1. Overseeing the Hotel’s training needs
2. Assessing, developing and delivering training programs with a particular focus on Sofitel brand, service delivery and compliance
3. Performing needs analysis to identify training needs related to all the levels of the organisation
4. Fostering a learning environment and culture within the hotel
5. Providing on-going support to the leadership team on training related matters, policies and procedures
6. Preparing regular training reports
7. Manage financial and administration processes for training activities
8. Maintaining record systems
9. Driving continuous improvement initiatives of hotel operations, systems and methodologies
10. Responsible for the management, implementation and adherence of management systems effectively within the hotel in relation (but not limited to) risk management, compliance, work health & safety, sustainability
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
11. Service focused personality is essential
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
13. Ability to prioritise work in an environment with multiple interests
14. Confidence in training facilitation
15. Return to Work Coordinator accreditation highly desirable
16. Work, Health & Safety operating knowledge and experience
17. Competency using a variety of computer software
18. Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset. Hotel operations experience would be a distinct advantage
19. Proven experience in a similar role essential
