Site Engineer
Your new company
Our client specialises in the supply and repair of water pipeline services. They are a privately owned Sydney-based company that offers their service regarding water pipelines, plumbing and drainage work to clients across Sydney and the wider area.
Your new role
As the Site Engineer, you will support the project staff regarding different pre-construction and construction stages of water projects. You will also assist with daily management, supervision, and project coordination. As well as ensure the completion of projects within time and on budget.
Your main duties will be but not limited to:
Procurement of project resources including labour, plant, equipment and materials
Subcontractor and supplier engagement
Addressing and reporting any project program related issues
Collection of subcontractor and supplier dockets from site
Collection of daily report forms from Site Supervisors
Uploading subcontractor and supplier invoices to relevant accounting systems
Preparing Zero Harm (HSEQ) documentation including plans and Safe Work Method Statements
Conducting relevant site inspections
Reporting on the performance of the Zero Harm (HSEQ) system and on opportunities for improvement
What you'll need to succeed
Enrolment and active completion of a degree / tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
Excellent time management / priority management skills
Demonstrated knowledge and strong commitment to Zero Harm (HSEQ)
Demonstrated ability to work productively in a team environment
Ability to relate to and work with personnel from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds
Have demonstrated energy, vision and passion for achievement under demanding time schedules
Demonstrated project administration experience
