Rare opportunity to join a globally recognised IT consulting and professional services firm in a newly created role focused on Australia's public sector, defence, and federal government accounts.
Reporting to the APAC VP, you'll lead strategic pursuits, win new clients, and expand key relationships across Australia's evolving Defence ecosystem. You'll have the autonomy, tools and trusted brand to drive real outcomesfor customers growing demands for better, future-ready technology solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:-
You'll be joining a high-performing, globally respected IT consulting and technology services firm with deep capability across systems integration, cloud, cyber, data analytics, and mission-critical applications.
You'll take the lead on:
- Developing and executing a Defence sector sales strategy aligned to local and national capability objectives.
- Winning new accounts and expanding key client relationships across Defence, National Security, and aligned Government portfolios.
- Leading strategic pursuits and navigating complex, security-sensitive procurement environments.
- Working closely with delivery, pre-sales, and vendor alliance teams to co-create value for clients.
- Influencing the go-to-market roadmap and helping shape the firm's footprint in Defence.
You'll have the tools, autonomy and support to deliver — backed by one of the strongest global IT services brands in the sector. Your new employer has a track record providing solutions to local, state and federal governments in Australia and around the globe.

What You Bring This role is ideal for a commercially minded, outcomes-driven sales executive or account manager / leader who understands Australia's Defence environment and has:
- A strong track record in enterprise-level B2B sales, business development or account direction — ideally in Defence, GovTech or critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience working with or within Defence Primes, CASG, CIOG, ASD or similar.
- The ability to align capability to complex client needs — with a strategic, consultative sales approach.
- Knowledge of ICT procurement and government frameworks (e.g., DISP, IRAP, GovERP).
- A contemporary approach to client engagement and the credibility to professionally influence senior stakeholders.
- A current or active security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
